Shreya Kanal is the Manager of Government Affairs for the American Hotel and Lodging Association. She is a lobbyist on the federal affairs team, working on labor, immigration, and travel and tourism policy. She joined AHLA in April 2023 and previously lobbied for the construction trade association, Associated Builders and Contractors. In her role at AHLA, she works closely with members of Congress, coalitions, and stakeholder groups to share the hotel industry’s top priorities. She enjoys traveling and staying active in Virginia where she lives.
